5 Months

Little man turned five months old this month! He is the happiest baby and brings us more joy than we thought possible. His little grin and giggle make my heart so happy, I live for it! He truly is such a content little guy. The only time he fusses is to let us know he is hungry or sleepy and it only lasts for a few seconds and then he is back to a happy boy once fed or once his eyes close! We are truly blessed with such a happy baby. At five months Graham enjoys...eating his hands and feet! He would suck on his toes all day if we let him. Once we take off his socks at night or his footsie Jammies in the morning it is like Christmas for him getting his toes out and putting them in his mouth. He loves his big sister! Lilian always brings the biggest smiles to his face! He loves kisses on his face and around his neck and when momma's hair tickles him at the same time, his inner thighs being tickled, his jumperoo (doesn't quite understand the concept of jumping yet, but he moves around and plays with the toys and loves the animal noises it makes), being talked to and read to, facing forward and being held. He has also learned to roll over! His first time was on October 2nd and he has been at it ever since!

G Man's First Trip to Iowa

We have been dying to take Graham back to Iowa (and our family has been patiently waiting)! Last weekend we were brave enough to try it out. Little man did awesome in the car (which is why we were reluctant in the first place). We had noticed he was getting better in the last few weeks around here but we were still unsure how he would do on a long drive. We were pleasantly surprised! We arrived Friday night to a house full of our family awaiting our arrival. Lilian was so excited to be at grandma and grandpa's house (she started asking if we were there yet at the stadiums, ha) and to start playing with Lauren and Andrew. Graham was all smiles as he was passed around and loved on!





We were also able to celebrate Grandpa's birthday Friday night with pizza, cake and ice cream! Happy birthday, Gary!

Saturday morning Brian and I had plans for a little couples getaway with my college girls and their husbands. Grandma and Grandpa were excited to have both sis and Graham for the day! Aunt Leanne, Aunt Andrea and the twins helped entertain everyone! We knew they were in good hands. In fact, upon our arrival on Sunday Lilian got teary eyed because she knew it meant we had to leave! That's a sign of a wonderful visit, not wanting to leave! Saturday Brian and I met everyone at the Upstream for lunch and did some shopping in Old Market. Afterwards, we went to Lucky Bucket Brewery for a tour and tasting. Then we checked into our hotel, the Hilton, and got freshened up for the night. Our first stop for the night was DJ's Dugout, a big sports bar, to watch Mizzou play and win! Afterwards we went to a few other bars and enjoyed chatting and catching up. It was such a fun night with wonderful friends.

Halloween Part Two

The Halloween activities continued with pumpkin carving, dressing up and trick or treating at both dance class and pre school for Lilian, and then celebrating on Halloween night by going around the neighborhood. Dorothy was VERY into her costume and got into character...she would reply to Dorothy, have Brian pretend to be the Scarecrow and me either Glenda or the witch! She is so in love with Wizard of Oz...it has taken over as the new obsession (move over princesses!) Our cowardly lion was a sport in his furry costume, too! We had to put a bib around it when we weren't taking pictures because he liked to eat the fur! What a fun Halloween!
