Spring Break

Spring break could not have come any sooner! We were ready for some rest and relaxation time with our munchkins! We kicked off our week by heading to Iowa to visit our family on Friday after school. We were excited to make it back in time to attend Lauren and Andrew's first grade musical at their elementary school. Being so far away we usually have to miss their events so we were so glad to be able to watch them in action this time! Saturday, Lilian took a trip to the farm and was able to ride grandpa's horse! While we were in town we also took the kids to the park and met up with a few of Brian's high school buddies and their families for a play date. We enjoyed lots of family time and attended church Sunday before heading back home. Lilian stayed an extra day and got to have a cousin slumber party at Aunt Leanne's house, which she adored! They drove her back to KC on Monday and even went to Crown Center and Fritz's together. Lilian was able to share all her expertise about the Wizard of Oz exhibit! Thanks, Aunt Leanne!













The rest of our break was pretty low key. We enjoyed one beautiful day at the park having a picnic together and enjoying the sunshine. The rest of our days we did some spring shopping, visited Hillary's new baby, Mack, visited Nannie and Ross, and even did some organizing and cleaning (ok, that was not fun, but it feels good to be done!)

Pop's New Ride

If you know my dad well, you know he loves cars! His latest being his new Corvette that just arrived. He has been waiting for it to arrive the last several months (well, really for the last several years!) He drove over this week and took Lilian for a ride around the block, she felt pretty cool riding with "Popsy" in the front seat of his new cool car!

9 Months

Graham is seeming more and more like a big boy lately! He eats all table food (and loves everything we offer him!) it has been pretty handy to skip right over all the baby food, and kind of funny too! He is a master at picking up his food and shoveling it into his mouth...one of his favorite past times!

No teeth still!

His hair is starting to come in more lately, it is blond and  has a little curl to it which I love!

He wears 9 month clothes  and is starting to wear some of his 9-12 month outfits for his round little belly. He wears size 3 diapers.

His personality is still Mr. HAPPY, smiley boy. We get comments all the time about what a happy, chill baby he is, which just melts out hearts and reminds us how lucky we are! He has not shown any separation anxiety yet (which is said to peak around this age), however, he does cry sometimes if mommy leaves the room or he cannot find her if he is tired or wanting to be held.

He still nurses, looks like he will will for the whole year since he is such a champ and good eater!

Loves...his jumper, watching Lilian do any and everything, banging toys together, his play car he can sit in and "drive," bath time, tickles on his belly and neck, eating, standing against the couch.

New tricks...waves and can do SO BIG! (Raising his arms above his head when we ask, "How big is Graham?" Those have been pretty fun!

He is still not mobile...no attempts at crawling. We put him on his belly all the time and he just rolls over. He does get places by rolling. We will look up and he will have moved clear across the room but it's all by rolling! He will also put weight on his legs and stand against the couch but doesn't last too long!

He is the best! We could not love this baby more...
